City Clerk/Treasurer
The City of Norwood Young America is accepting applications for the position of City Clerk / Treasurer.
The City Clerk/Treasurer performs accounting and clerical work involved in collections, disbursements, bank reconciliations, and other related accounting functions. Responsible for coordinating the election process, processing permits and licenses to include liquor licenses, and attending City Council meetings and taking minutes. Also serves as human resource coordinator which includes processing payroll, maintaining employee files, and coordinating employee benefits programs. This is a full-time exempt position with a wage range of $28.64 – $35.76 hourly. Starting wage is DOQ. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, three to five years of experience in accounting, finance, human resources, or related field, and a valid Minnesota Driver’s License. Desired qualifications include previous experience as a City Clerk or other municipal administration position and a degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or related field.
