The City of Norwood Young America would like to welcome you to a community that prides itself on having the inherent characteristics of a small town, but also the progressive qualities of a large city. Norwood Young America is conveniently located at the intersection of State Hwy 5 and US Hwy 212. Recognized as the hub of commerce for neighboring townships and small communities, Norwood Young America continues to experience both commercial and industrial growth. Known for our strong connection to history and charming small-town feel, we are eager to partner with you as a prospective business owner.

Tacoma West Industrial Park (TWIP) & TWIP Phase 2
Norwood Young America has a thriving manufacturing business community. There are eighteen successful manufacturing businesses within the NYA city limits featuring cabinetmakers, welding, dock manufacturing, farm equipment, safety equipment, sign manufacturing, storage container manufacturing, a distribution facility, and more.
The Norwood Young America Tacoma West Industrial Park is located on the Southwest corner of U.S. Highway 212 and Tacoma Avenue. The Park has provided opportunities for new and existing businesses to expand and bring industry and jobs to Norwood Young America. It is attractive for light industrial uses and benefits from rail access to the Twin Cities & Western Railroad and the MN Prairie Line Railroad.
The Tacoma West Industrial Park Phase 2 (TWIP2) property is now available for new businesses and expansion projects.
