Reminder to Keep Streets Clear During Snow Events:
In the case of snow, city snow removal crews will be working hard to ensure safe and accessible streets for everyone.
As per City Code Section 720, please note the following:
– All cars, trucks, trailers, and garbage cans must be removed from city streets until snowplows have cleared them from curb to curb.
– This applies during and after any snowfall or blowing snow that results in an accumulation of 2 or more inches within 24 hours.
Keeping streets clear allows plows to operate efficiently, ensuring the roads are safe for travel and emergency vehicles. Vehicles left on the street may be subject to tickets and towing.
