Interested in joining our team? The City of Norwood Young America employs paid-on-call firefighters who are responsible for responding to emergency situations, as well as attending trainings and meetings.
Firefighters may be called for emergency response anytime during a 24 hour day, with firefighters expected to respond to minimum percentage of calls.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Minnesota Drivers License
- Must live within reasonable time of fire station
