Beginning Friday, August 30, 2024, the Norwood Young America recycling site with be closed until future notice due to road construction on Railroad Street. During this time, residents can use the Mayer recycling site located at 15300 County Road 30, Mayer, the Cologne recycling site at 304 Louis St W, Cologne, or the Carver County Environmental Center located at 116 Peavey Cir, Chaska.
