THE CITY OF NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA HAS AN OPENING FOR A TEMPORARY OFFICE ASSISTANT.
This position is a temporary part-time position working up to 20 hours per week with a end date of December 31, 2021. No weekend hours. Serves as the City of Norwood Young America’s first point of contact and performs a variety of secretarial and clerical tasks including: typing, filing, operating personal computer, entering data, answering phones, and transmitting messages, responding to inquiries, maintaining records, and assisting other departments as directed. Candidates must have a high school degree or equivalent and a valid driver’s license along with knowledge of office administration and office equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, be courteous and professional; have the ability to multitask and maintain positive attitude under minimal direction.
