Mission Statement: The Society preserves the evidence of the past that tells the stories of Norwood Young America, and the surrounding communities.

Who we are: We are a group of NYA citizens and other volunteers who believe that the history of this community is worth preserving and sharing.  We attempt, through various displays and collections of writings, photos, and artifacts, to connect people with the history of this community.

Where we are: The former location of the library.

What you can do: Donate artifacts, documents or ephemera that you feel might be of interest to the community.  Just contact us by phone, mail, or come in person.  There are specific types of donation forms available at the Society for documenting your items.

Membership: Applications for specific memberships and/or volunteering are available.  Your membership includes associate membership in Carver County Historical Society, which is a member of the Minnesota Historical Society, and optional attendance at the annual meeting.
