Election judges are needed to work at polling locations to supervise the election process. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, an eligible voter, and reside within the city at least 20 days prior to the elections.

Election judge duties include:

• Opening/closing the polls
• Being responsible for election materials
• Ensuring that only qualified voters are voting and are only voting once
• Distribute ballots
• Tally and certify election results

Two or three hours of training are required. Judges will be paid for both training and working the polls. If you are interested in becoming an election judge or would like additional information, please contact Diane Frauendienst at City Hall, 467-1807. Applications may be obtained at City Hall.
